Terms, Payment, Cancellation & Service Adjustment Policy
This policy governs reservations, deposits, electronic acceptance, payment, cancellation, arrival procedures, customer no-show, service adjustments, promotions, valuation disclosures, and service refusal rules for A&K All Services, Inc.
1. Electronic acceptance, estimate, contract, and service records
By signing electronically, checking the acceptance box, approving an estimate, completing payment, or confirming a revised estimate through the company workflow, the customer agrees that the estimate, contract, policy, payment authorization, digital signature, timestamps, and related electronic records are valid and enforceable service records.
Electronic signatures, electronic records, and electronic contracts are recognized under applicable law. Before moving or accessorial services are provided, the customer may be required to review and electronically acknowledge the estimate, contract, policy, payment terms, and service details.
In the event of a dispute, the controlling record may include the estimate, revised estimate, accepted policy, signed acceptance, digital signature, payment authorization, customer messages, dispatch records, crew notes, photos, route data, timestamps, and company system logs.
2. Reservation deposit, balance, and booking confirmation
A reservation is not confirmed until the required deposit is successfully received.
The deposit secures the selected service date, crew allocation, dispatch preparation, route planning, and operational capacity assigned to the reservation.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, the deposit is applied toward the service total. The remaining balance is due on the day of service.
If payment is not completed, A&K All Services, Inc. has no obligation to hold the requested date or perform the service.
3. Cancellation policy
If the cancellation is received at least 72 hours before the scheduled service start, 100% of the deposit is refunded.
If the cancellation is received more than 24 hours but less than 72 hours before the scheduled service start, 50% of the deposit is refunded.
If the cancellation is received 24 hours or less before the scheduled service start, including the same day, the deposit is non-refundable.
This cancellation policy applies unless a more specific written agreement signed or expressly approved by the company states otherwise.
4. Pre-service confirmation
At least 3 calendar days before the scheduled service date, A&K All Services, Inc. may contact the customer by email, text message, phone, or WhatsApp to confirm whether the reservation is proceeding, must be canceled, or must be rescheduled.
This confirmation step is part of the company’s operational process for route planning, staffing, access readiness, schedule control, and dispatch preparation.
If the customer requests to reschedule, the new date remains subject to operational availability and active rescheduling or cancellation rules.
5. Arrival notice, waiting time, and customer no-show
On the day of service, the crew or dispatch team may contact the customer approximately 30 minutes before arrival to notify the customer that the team is on the way.
The customer is responsible for being present, reachable, and ready to provide access at the scheduled service location within the time communicated by the company.
If the crew arrives and the customer does not respond, is not present, does not provide access, or is otherwise unavailable to receive the service, the crew may wait up to 1 hour from the initial arrival time, subject to operational availability.
After the first hour, the company may attempt to contact the customer again. If the customer does not respond, does not provide access, does not sign, does not approve a required revised estimate, or does not complete required payment to continue, the service may be treated as canceled and the deposit will not be refunded.
If the customer responds after the initial waiting period and the company agrees to continue, A&K All Services, Inc. may allow up to 2 additional hours of waiting time only at the company’s discretion and subject to actual crew, route, and schedule availability.
If no authorized person arrives or access is still not provided after the additional waiting time, the company may cancel the service, stop the job, leave the site, or offer rescheduling only if dispatch approves it. Rescheduling after a no-show is not guaranteed and is handled case by case.
Any additional waiting time, if granted, may create additional charges for waiting time, overtime, delay, crew time, route impact, or operational rescheduling.
6. Payment authorization and payment methods
The customer authorizes A&K All Services, Inc. to collect any properly approved remaining balance and any properly approved service adjustment through a secure payment method accepted by the company.
Approved adjustments may include undeclared inventory, route change, additional stop, added labor, extra mileage, packing changes, overtime, waiting time, difficult access, revised service scope, or other approved service differences. If Stripe and the customer’s payment settings permit an authorized reusable payment method, it may be used only for a separately approved amount; otherwise the company will request payment through a new secure link or another accepted method.
If the primary payment method fails, the company may send a secure payment link for manual payment by card or any supported checkout method, including Apple Pay or Google Pay where available.
If prior methods fail, the company may request payment through physical card terminal, valid personal check, cashier’s check, money order, Zelle when accepted for that specific job, or another payment method expressly accepted by the company.
7. Customer-declared information and pricing accuracy
All pricing is based strictly on the information declared by the customer.
The customer is responsible for accurately declaring inventory, number of rooms, quantity of boxes, stairs, elevators, floor level, parking, long walk, building restrictions, access conditions, distance, debris volume, packing scope, special items, heavy items, fragile items, and any condition that affects labor, time, route, cost, or risk.
If the customer declares fewer items, fewer rooms, fewer boxes, easier access, lighter debris, lower packing complexity, or otherwise misstates the real conditions of the service, the original estimate may be suspended and replaced by a revised estimate before the service continues.
If the crew arrives and finds items, boxes, rooms, debris, packing needs, stairs, access conditions, heavy items, specialty items, or service conditions that were not included in the customer’s submitted information, A&K All Services, Inc. may adjust the service price before continuing.
8. Local and Long Distance pricing, route, access, waiting, and unsupported items
Local Moving uses an hourly labor rate with a minimum job total that applies to every Full Local Moving or Local Item Move job. Fixed public bedroom-price tables are not used.
The customer does not select crew size. Dispatch assigns 2, 3, 4, or more movers according to property, inventory, access, estimated time, and operational complexity.
Approved additional moving or packing time is billed in 30-minute increments at the standard rate.
Local Item Moves begin with the current per-piece Price Book catalog, apply the Local minimum, and do not stack another hourly labor minimum on top of the piece calculation.
Local routes from 0–15 miles are included. Longer routes within the Local service area apply a capped route modifier that increases with distance, up to 45 miles. Above 45 miles, the service changes to Long Distance. Google Maps route resolution, rather than the city name, controls that classification.
Long Distance is not sold to the customer by the hour. Its estimate uses the applicable route calibration anchor, actual inventory and property scope, Google-resolved miles and duration, access, loading and unloading complexity, packing when requested, and other legitimate adjustments.
Long Distance pricing includes transportation and estimated diesel internally. A separate public fuel surcharge is not added. If Google cannot resolve the route after retry, or if the result differs materially from the calibration anchor without a legitimate scope reason, the estimate requires Manager Review before presentation.
Without an elevator, a capped floor modifier applies based on the floor level at each stop. Long carry and difficult access each apply their own capped modifier.
Ordinary route and access modifiers are evaluated together and capped rather than stacked without limit.
Customer- or building-caused waiting is billed in 30-minute increments after a 15-minute grace period. The same delay cannot be charged both as Elevator Delay and Waiting.
A&K All Services, Inc. will notify the customer before continuing when additional time is needed. If the customer refuses or fails to approve additional time, the company may limit the service to what can be completed within the approved paid time, stop work, or require a revised estimate before continuing.
Any additional stop not included in the original confirmed estimate is subject to an additional-stop charge, plus any resulting mileage, labor, tolls, additional time, waiting time, or routing impact.
A&K does not move pianos of any type. A piano must be removed from the requested scope and is not eligible for manual-review or specialty pricing.
9. Service adjustment after field verification
If the assigned crew, dispatcher, manager, company system, or company review process determines that the actual job differs from the original declaration, the company may issue a revised estimate before continuing the service.
The revised estimate may include adjustments for additional inventory, undeclared packing, additional stops, route correction, heavy items, debris volume, overtime, waiting time, stair carry, elevator absence, difficult access, or any material operational difference.
No work beyond the originally approved scope is required to continue until the revised estimate is expressly approved by the customer.
10. Mandatory approval before continuation
If a revised estimate is issued, the service pauses until the customer expressly approves the revised amount through the company’s designated approval workflow.
Approval may be collected through electronic signature, written digital confirmation, approved payment authorization, secure checkout, text confirmation, email confirmation, or another documented approval method accepted by the company.
If the customer refuses, delays, or fails to approve the revised estimate, A&K All Services, Inc. may stop work, leave the site, cancel the remaining service, or reschedule only at the company’s discretion.
If the service is stopped because the customer refuses or fails to approve a required revised estimate, the reservation deposit is forfeited and is not refunded.
11. Packing, Full Packing, Partial Packing, add-ons, materials, and special items
Packing services are not included in the hourly local moving labor rate unless expressly selected, listed, approved as a bonus, or included in a confirmed written estimate.
Partial Packing is a separate service for selected areas or selected fragile items. It is estimated from scope and time plus materials; it is not a flat full-home packing charge.
Full Packing is an additional service unless expressly selected and included in a confirmed estimate. Its final model is estimated packing and disassembly labor time plus materials and complexity. Bedroom count may describe scope but is not the final pricing engine. Partial Packing and Full Packing are not charged together for the same scope.
When Full Packing is combined with Moving, the customer reserves one service date unless the company confirms otherwise. Operationally, A&K All Services, Inc. may assign one or more crews the same day to complete packing and moving correctly.
Boxes, materials, TV boxes, wardrobe boxes, dish packs, specialty wrapping, fragile packing, add-ons, extra protection, or additional labor are charged when selected or when required because of undeclared or inaccurate customer information.
Specialty, heavy, fragile, oversized, high-value, unsafe, or unusual items may require review, adjustment, refusal, or special approval before service continues.
12. Junk Removal and debris services
Junk Removal base scope prices are not guaranteed all-in totals. Every Junk Removal quote respects an absolute minimum. Google resolves the route from the company base to pickup, and the travel calculation includes an included-mileage allowance before an additional per-mile charge applies.
For junk removal, mixed cleanouts, commercial cleanouts, dumpster support, and heavy debris jobs, estimates use declared volume, customer photos, access conditions, material type, weight, legitimate disposal requirements and costs, labor intensity, and Google-resolved route miles and duration.
If Google cannot resolve the route after retry, no distance is invented and the quote requires Manager Review. Heavy debris, unusual disposal, or commercial cleanout scope may also require approval before checkout.
If the actual junk, debris, access difficulty, labor requirement, volume, item type, disposal condition, or weight is greater than declared, the company may issue a revised estimate before continuing the job.
Hazardous, restricted, illegal, unsafe, or prohibited items may be refused.
13. Promotions and written offers
A promotion is valid only when it is published as active on the official A&K Promotions page or expressly approved in a written quote or agreement.
The active offer must identify the eligible service, included benefit, requirements, and expiration date. Old screenshots, expired campaigns, third-party posts, and verbal claims do not create a discount.
Promotions cannot be combined with another promotion, discount, custom price, or special offer unless A&K All Services, Inc. expressly approves the combination in writing.
When no active offer is published, the official service pricing and the customer’s written quote control.
14. No-start / stop-work rule
A&K All Services, Inc. may refuse to start or continue service if any of the following occurs: missing deposit, declined payment, unsigned agreement, refusal to approve a revised estimate, unsafe conditions, materially inaccurate declaration, building access failure, unmanageable route condition, restricted items, abusive conduct, or any other operational condition that prevents lawful and safe continuation.
15. Valuation coverage, limitation disclosures, and consumer protection
If valuation coverage or liability limitation terms apply, they must be disclosed in writing at the time the estimate and contract are executed and before moving or accessorial services are provided.
A&K All Services, Inc. does not waive any right to correct an estimate that was based on inaccurate or incomplete customer information.
The customer acknowledges that all prices, conditions, fees, promo rules, payment rules, and approval rules are disclosed to avoid hidden or deceptive billing practices.
16. Florida legal references
This policy is intended to operate consistently with applicable Florida law, including rules related to electronic signatures and records, written estimates and contracts when Chapter 507 applies, payment-method disclosure, valuation or coverage disclosure, and fair consumer-practice requirements.
References to Florida law are informational and do not represent that A&K holds a registration, license, insurance status, or authority that has not been independently confirmed. Any regulated service is offered only when the company has the authorization required for that service and transaction.
